Position Overview

The Senior Manager of ERP Systems and PMO plays a pivotal role as a key member of the Medical IT Leadership Team at TE Connectivity. Their primary responsibility involves overseeing a geographically dispersed team, consisting of Business Analysts, Application Specialists, and Project Managers, within the Medical business unit. Beyond team management, this role will contribute to shaping the strategy for application lifecycle management, software integrations, and M&A initiatives. The ideal candidate must possess a comprehensive understanding of business principles, business processes, ERP, and other software systems, PMO practices, and project management standards. Moreover, they should be familiar with FDA regulations and similar compliance requirements.

Short Description

  • Lead the Medical ERP team, offering guidance, mentorship, and career advancement opportunities.

  • Formulate and oversee roadmaps and long-term strategies for the complete application portfolio.

  • Budget planning at a project, PMO and overall IT budget level

  • Foster ongoing relationships with various business functions.

  • Exercise supervision over ERP change management and enhancements.

  • Maintain associations with external contractors as necessary.

  • Drive M&A-related application activities and the integration of software platforms.

  • Define application strategies based on future business conditions.

  • Adapt and prioritize projects, tasks, and changes as required.

  • Actively drive the achievement of major goals and roadmap milestones.

  • Communicate the impacts and downtime effectively to the business.

  • Uphold commitments to ensure uninterrupted operations.

  • Promote and enforce the continual adoption of IT PMO practices.

  • Comply with both internal and external regulations.

  • Assist in meeting audit requirements and driving resulting improvements.

  • Collaborate with corporate IT (TEIS) solution providers to structure projects, monitor progress, resolve issues, and offer guidance as necessary.

  • Manage and coordinate all project team activities, encompassing planning, scheduling, tracking, and reporting on project progress.

  • Facilitate large-scale meetings and workshops.

  • Continue to promote and enforce the adoption of IT PMO best practices.

  • Assist in the quarterly IT demand management into Corporate IT demand/supply process.

What your background should look like:

  • Requires a minimum of 10 years of relevant IT experience.

  • Must have at least 10 years of experience with SAP or a top-tier ERP system.

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in people management is essential.

  • Prior experience in manufacturing is preferred.

  • Prior experience in Enterprise Applications and system architecture

  • Requires a minimum of 8 years of Project Management experience.

  • Candidates should possess strong functional skills and the ability to facilitate group discussions related to business process design.

  • Presentation experience is necessary, along with the ability to assist business leads in implementation planning, analysis, documentation, training, and post-implementation support for SAP.

  • Should have experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Special Requirements

  • Flexibility in working hours is necessary since the team is globally distributed.

  • Periodic travel to various sites may be required.
