What you will do

As an R&D technician, you will get an opportunity to work within a fast-paced new product development environment on an array of technical challenges for our next generation products. As part of this team, you will interface with cross functional team members both involving product testing as well as product & process development. You would be able to share inputs into all phases of product development as well as have opportunities to see our product in action via customer visits and workshops. You would be working under limited supervision assisting engineers, scientists, and/or teams in the development and analysis of products, materials, processes, or equipment.

Some key responsibilities include:

  • Assemble prototypes/products per design plan.

  • Test prototypes per engineering instructions and document test results.

  • Assist engineering teams to obtain supplies and services.

  • Communicate assignment status to project engineers.

  • Train others on new product processes and procedures.

  • Build quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.

What you need

  • 3+ years of technical work experience in medical device development (R&D experience preferable).

  • Bench fixturing / tooling design experience

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Good communication skills
