Job Title: Tool Grinder

Job Description

The Tool Grinder will perform a variety of tasks including planning, constructing, altering, and repairing tools, jigs, prototypes, and special parts. This includes complex machine operations using a diverse range of manual and CNC machine tools. The successful candidate will work from prints, sketches, computer-aided manufacturing software, machine manuals, machinist manuals, and instructions. Duties include, but are not limited to, working from blueprints, brazing materials, setting up equipment for diverse grinding operations, planning operational sequences, measuring workpieces, maintaining equipment, and completing paperwork.

Work Environment

The work environment is well lit and temperature controlled. The workspace is well spaced. The work will involve the use of both newer and older machines.
