JOB DUTIES: Establish architectural direction to the development team(s) in the implementation of large-scale, event driven systems in support of analytic outcomes. Run the Architecture Review Board and contribute in Enterprise technical leadership forums. Establish reference architectures and paved path artifacts for key technical capabilities that include observability, deployment automation, security, and scalability. Support the construction of early prototypes and validate them for technical design and architectural fitness to stated requirements. Support a sub team of architects to evangelize development best practices, and implement architectural blueprints. Enforce reuse strategy across programs by collaborating with R&D teams and business leaders. Work with program teams to establish technology roadmaps and drive execution.100% telecommuting role. Reports to company headquarters in Franklin Lakes, NJ. Can work remotely or telecommute.MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Architecture or related field of study AND Five (5) Years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained.Must also have demonstrated experience in the following: Okta; JavaScript, ReactJs, node.js, and Redis; Git, Stash, Tfs, Bamboo, Spinnaker and SonarQube; Checkmarx; Jasmine, Mocha and Selenium+Specflow; Taurus, Jmeter, or Blazemeter; Cloud platform; AWS (API gateway, Lambda, DynamoDb, SQS/SNS, S3, CloudFront, Fargate and ELB); and Google Cloud Platform (AppEngine, Pub/Sub, Kubernetes Engine, Google Datastore, Cloud Functions, Dataflow and BigQuery).OTHER:Employer: Becton, Dickinson and Company Job location: 1 Becton Drive, Franklin Lakes, NJ 07417 (100% telecommuting role.
