RedHat Key Account Manager - Enterprise, Germany in Frankfurt/Main, Germany

Job summary

The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Key Account Manager with experience with solutions selling within the IT industry to join our team in Frankfurt, Berlin, Munich, Dusseldorf, or another city in Germany. In this role, you will be assigned specific accounts of enterprise customers, becoming responsible for developing strategic account plans and achieving them in a highly competitive market. You will also build new relationships and expand business with existing customers within your assigned accounts while meeting assigned sales quotas.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Successfully sell the company offerings or services to well-known enterprise accounts

  • Establish a strategic partnership with customers on different levels of their organizations, while understanding their business needs and presenting solutions to address those needs

  • Create strategic plans to develop new accounts and expand existing accounts

  • Represent Red Hat to the customers and the customers to Red Hat in all sales-related matters

  • Understand the customer businesses, product requirements, and industry challenges

  • Work collaboratively with a solutions architect, overlay structures, and inside sales representatives

Required skills

  • 8+ years of experience selling complex IT solutions to large organizations and multiple decision makers

  • Proven record of establishing long-lasting customer relationships that have expanded business

  • Excellent communication and technical skills to develop relationships at engineering, commercial, and executive levels throughout organizations

  • Strategic mindset with a successful record of developing account strategies

  • Good influencing skills; ability to create a vision for your accounts and inspire your team colleagues to help make it a reality

  • Proactive approach toward offerings, markets, and customer business challenges

  • Good understanding of IT and datacenter challenges and solutions

  • Focused on building solid and trusted relationships with customers

  • Native-level language skills in German and fluent written and verbal language skills in English
