What you’ll do:
Lead a team of Reliability Engineers to manage a distributed Trading Platform for high performance and low latency.
Foster SRE mindset and engineer reliability through automation and systematization.
Collaborate and manage the delivery of reliability requirements with software engineering and Infrastructure teams.
Develop subject matter expertise on trading workflows and guide team exceed service level objectives.
Proactively manage platform changes, risk and incident management.
Challenge engineers by setting high standards, while fostering an environment for their development.
What you have:
5-10 years of experience leading teams in a dynamic environment.
Extensive experience managing a distributed systems, built on (server-side) Windows and Linux.
Demonstrated experience building automated systems for metric collection and driving improvements based on the data.
Demonstrated experience building platform orchestration using tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Salt, Chef.
Demonstrated experience putting together solutions using open or closed source tools for monitoring and alerting (Netcool, Appdynamics, ITRS, Splunk, etc.).
Ability to program in one or more of high level languages such as .Net, Java, Python, Powershell, Bash.
Experience working SQL Queries, SQL and NoSQL databases.
Experience working in distributed messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ.
Extensive knowledge of IP networking including TCP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, IP Routing, etc.
Demonstrated Agile methodologies experience.
Bachelors or Masters in a STEM degree.
