Lockheed Martin Manager - F35 International Co-Production in Fort Worth, Texas

This Manager role will be reporting to the Sr. Manager for the F-35 International Co-Production Team. Responsibilities will include leading a team of subcontract managers who will have purview on major subcontracts including International Co-Production, Final Assembly & Checkout (FACO) and Aircraft Depot Maintenance Repair Overhaul and Upgrade (MROU).

The role will be responsible to manage cost, schedule, and supplier performance. The manager is responsible for coordinating employee selection/hiring, training, development, performance and assessments, work assignments, and disciplinary actions. This position is responsible for directing all phases of the subcontracts from initiation, Request For Proposals (RFP's), proposals, negotiations, issuing purchase orders, subcontract management of the suppliers, internal audits, cost accountability executive reviews, supplier reviews, program reviews, contract closeout and all associated metrics. This position requires an individual to lead a team to execute highly complex contracts. Experience with TINA negotiations, proposal compliancy, and purchase order compliancy necessary.

Collaborate with Labor Relations & Human Resources to enhance employee engagement.

A level 5 employee Typically has 14 - 20 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

-Program or project management experience

-Experienced in Supply Chain Management (i.e. subcontract cost, quality, schedule and technical program performance)

-Negotiations experience under FAR Part 15

-Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR), government regulations.

Desired Skills:

-Demonstrated ability to build relationships with program and technical community

-Understanding of MRP/SAP with current SAP access

-Ability to develop long-term strategies and tactical plans to achieve enterprise objectives

-Excellent business acumen and ability to make business based decisions

-Strong organizational skills to handle many overlapping projects simultaneously

-Ability to successfully interface and interact with all levels of the organization

-Informal leadership, lead or mentoring experience

-Price / Cost Analysis Experience
