Lockheed Martin Program Management Manager - SOF GLSS - Fixed Wing Development Program in Fort Walton Beach, Florida
Description: Candidate will serve as a Program Manager on the SOF GLSS IDIQ Contract responsible for management activities within the Fixed Wing Development Program area directing all phases from proposal through implementation and completion in accordance with the Statement of Work. Candidate will provide comprehensive program oversight to ensure that all program activities are implemented consistent with planned strategies & commitments, and achieve 100% on time delivery of the components to meet contract need dates. The responsibilities will include developing program plans (i.e. Program Management Plans (PMP), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), etc.), implementing the program baseline, overseeing the risk and opportunity management process, ensuring compliance to customer contract requirements, and potentially serving as a POC with the customer. Candidate will coordinate activities concerned with technical development/engineering design & test/problem resolution that directly affect and encompass the multi-functional performing teams: engineering, production operations, logistics, supply chain management, quality, and finance. Candidate will work with the Business Manager to manage EVMS cost elements within targets and prepare/manage contract documents (i.e., CPR, CDRL submittals,). Work within Program Manager to influence and guide the functions/subcontractors/partners to establish creative solutions and make sound business decisions and deliver the highest quality components possible while meeting aircraft modification schedules.
Demonstrated experience in government proposal preparation, processing, and contract negotiations
- Demonstrated experience in project and or program management to include earned value, planning/scheduling, CDRL development, critical path analysis.
- Knowledge of risk management
- Ability to use Microsoft Office with advanced skills in power point and excel
- Experience with CPFF, CPIF, and FFP Contracts
- Experience meeting tight deadlines
- Experience managing competing and multiple priorities
10 or more years working with C-130 Aircraft (MC-130 preferred)
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Self-motivated, results oriented team player
Effective communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
Experience in the development of Statements of Work (SOW)
