About the Position: This position is located in the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) - Fleet Management Expansion (FMX), Fort Sill, Oklahoma.

Responsibilities

Serve as a working leader over work operations involving 3 or more subordinate workers.

Provide general instructions, standard procedures, overall priorities and policies, and relies on the incumbent to assure that work assignments are carried out by other members of the group.

Provide information to supervisor on status, progress of work, causes of delays, overall work operations, problems, and training requirements for employees.

Determine equipment, supplies, and maintenance required.

Operate motor vehicle up to 10,000 lbs within the confines of the installation.

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of an Electronics Mechanic Leader without more than normal supervision. Experience is defined as: Conducting inspections of electrical equipment; using test equipment to diagnose malfunctions; troubleshooting to determine cause of malfunction; and complete repairs of electrical equipment using hand and power tools. The position works under normal supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed.
