CompuCom Sr. Integration Architect in Fort Mill, South Carolina

Why CompuCom? (Overview)

The Application Integration Architect’s role is to plan, coordinate, architect, and supervise all activities related to the integration of software programs, applications, and third-party solutions as required to meet the business requirements of the organization. This individual is also responsible for developing and maintaining an application integration architecture blueprint for the organization, overseeing testing of the interoperability of application modules. Responsible for the development and maintenance of IT integration architecture, integration standard models, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) portfolio and governance. Provides high level consultation for broad areas of technology to project efforts within various IT areas or external service providers. The Integration Architect will be focused on all aspects of cloud strategy and adoption for applications, platform, and infrastructure as a service. The architect will work to define the requirements, principles and models that guide integration decisions in alignment with strategic IT and enterprise goals. Responsible for defining integration standards, frameworks and guidelines. Directly participates in the governance process for reviewing specific solutions to assure they are properly leveraging published frameworks and standards. Works closely with Solution Architects, Engineering teams and Development groups to advocate the value identified in new integration and DevOps methods. The scope of activities includes helping the organization grow revenue, optimizing costs and mitigating risks. He or she focuses on understanding and applying existing, new and emerging technologies to transform and optimize business and operating models. This role is responsible for helping business leaders enable their future-state business capabilities that, in turn, drive the organization’s targeted business outcomes through speed and agility in delivering integrations in a scalable fashion. The Integration Architect leads, prioritizes, and develops the overall integration architecture approach for the organization, and communicates tool, process and methodology direction to all teams.
