BayCare Health System Systems Analyst Sr. - IS in Florida

Title: Systems Analyst Sr. - IS Location: Florida Job Number: 2111714

The Senior Systems Analyst is responsible for formulating and defining the system scope and objectives based on customer needs. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems. Recommends and prepares technical procedure and design for new or existing applications, including system specifications and programming guidelines. Analyzes and revises existing system logic problems and documentation as necessary. Tests, debugs, documents and in-services system modifications and upgrades. Has full technical knowledge of all phases of application systems analysis. Ensures that change management policies and procedures are being applied within team. Takes ownership of resolution for product and/or implementation issues. Provides mentorship to less senior team members and is accountable as a role model for customer service excellence. Acts as project leader for designated projects as assigned. May work on multiple software applications and/or support multiple institutions. Required Experience: 8 years as a Systems Analyst; or 8 years Planning, Design, Testing, Implementation, Support and Analysis of programs and software; or 4 years relevant experience with Bachelor's in Computer Science field. Must be experienced in in systems development lifecycle, including requirements gathering and design. Must have participated in multiple phases of an integrated system implementation. Must have sound knowledge of multiple core technical areas or business processes. Preferred: Cerner EMR experience in PathNet and Core solutions. Understanding of interface specifications.
