Here’s where you’ll demonstrate your proficiencies:
We are looking for an electrical maintenance technician capable of installing, repairing and troubleshooting our machines and equipment with integrity and attention to detail. The goal is to maintain the electrical components of our infrastructure in our industrial setting.
Troubleshooting problems with electrical equipment such as motors, generators, transformers, switches, circuit breakers, fuses, etc.
Installing electrical wiring and equipment such as light fixtures, outlets, switches, junction boxes, power distribution panels, circuit breaker boxes, and conduit pipes
Inspecting electrical equipment for signs of damage or deterioration, such as frayed wires or cracked insulation
Repairing and maintaining electrical motors, generators, switchgear, transformers, and other equipment related to the generation, transmission, and utilization of electrical power.
Performing safety inspections of electrical equipment and facilities to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
Must have proficient English reading and writing skills and be able to read and comprehend MSDS sheets and standard work instructions. High School Diploma/GED is preferred.
Proven experience as an electrical maintenance technician
Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
Customer-oriented and friendly
Prioritization and time management skills
Working quickly without compromising quality
5 years’ experience with formal tech training or 10 years equivalent experience with no training
Current Electrical safety training (NFPA 70E)
· Experience in Customer Service is highly desirable
· Creative thinking
Regularly exerting up to 20 lbs. of force and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
Bending body downward and forward at the waist.
Standing for sustained periods of time.
Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks.
