Aerotek Engineering IPT Lead in Fairfax, Virginia

* We're looking for candidates with strong skills in Hardware Design, Large System Integration, Agile Leadership *

Your Role:

-IPT Lead responsible for the successful execution of the Software, Hardware, Mechanical, Electrical and ILS Engineering Efforts

-Responsible for leading the team through successful Program Milestone events

-Main Point of Contact and program representative for Customer and Subsystem Partner Working Groups

-Perform detailed research and technical analysis to determine feasibility of design for delivery to Manufacturing team (vendor products, COTS components, GFE/CFE, specifications, manuals, etc.)

-Travel may be required to Manassas VA, Newport RI, and Pittsfield MA (NONE DURING COIVD)

-Provide resolution to a diverse range of complex problems

-Keep abreast of technology trends

-Contribute to the achievement of business objectives

-Support new business development, proposals, cost estimates for yearly tasking

-Lead by example with strong work ethic and ability to multi-task in a collaborative (team) environment

  • Must be able to obtain a DoD Security clearance

Required Skills:

-Strong Engineering Leadership Experience

-Systems architecture, development and engineering concepts, principles, and theories

-Requirements management & system modeling tools

-Large System Integration (preferably Navy DOD environment)

-Agile/DevOps Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

-Effectively communicate issues, impacts, and corrective actions

-Engineering briefs for program leadership and customers

-Customer management

-Proficient ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and effectively handle complex assignments

-Written/Verbal communication and presentation skills

-Ability to sell concepts and ideas

-Microsoft Office Products
