Description *Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour plus many benefits after 60 days! * The Position will be opened until position is filled We train and provide all PPE equipment at no cost to you! POSITION SUMMARY: Unload and load supplies and equipment for company and vendor trucks, prepare orders for jobs, assist with pickups and deliveries and perform various functions for the company in the warehouse and in the yard. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Lifts, carries, loads and unloads various construction items including line painting supplies, signs, tools, steel, aluminum, wood and hardware, etc. Prepares, cleans and sweeps work areas and maintain a neat, orderly, work environment. Pull orders for devices to be delivered to construction projects. Make sure trucks are loaded with proper equipment for set tasks. Loads and unload trucks manually and with forklifts. Organizing warehouse and shelves Assist with product inventory Proper use of power tools to cut, drill, and perform various shop related tasks. Ensure all safety rules and procedures are adhered to at all times. Perform other work related duties as assigned.
Position Requirements All eligible candidates MUST pass the following pre-employment screenings before they can be hired to RoadSafe Traffic Systems: Background Screening Drug Screening (including marijuana) MVR Background Screening EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: MUST HAVE CDL A / HAZMAT ENDORSEMENT. Ability to understand and follow directions as given. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required Ability to lift and carry up to 50 to 75 pounds. Utilizing, operating, and inspecting heavy equipment including sit down fork truck, pallet jack and overhead hoists Perform material handling and warehousing functions. Order filling, processing, storing/ picking of parts, materials, equipment, and supplies. Additional warehouse functions such as, shipping, and receiving documents. Interaction with various carrier and customer drivers. Adhere to all facility safety policies and procedures. Uses machines for weighing, banding, wrapping, packaging, etc. Operates electronic hardware/RF units to receive material into inventory. Performs 5S/housekeeping functions as required. Basic Qualifications: MUST HAVE CDL A / HAZMAT ENDORSEMENT. Ability to work flexible hours. Good attendance record Ability to work overtime when required. Work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures. Walk squat and bend over for intervals of 15-30 minutes, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to cross reference material to documentation for verification. Ability to work flexible hours.
