Cybersecurity Engineer in analysis and interpretation of design artifacts for the development of certification and accreditation documentation supporting DoD RMF certifications. Hands on Systems Engineer with experience in requirements analysis, Integrated Master Schedules, Configuration Management. Experience in Windows and/or Linux operating system, unified and interconnected networks and systems administration in heterogeneous environments.
This candidate will support Cybersecurity (IA) system activities on the F35 Training Systems program. Primary responsibilities will be to support compliance with DoD 8500.2 and JAFAN specifications and intent. The selected individual will be required to work with the hardware, software and specialty engineers as needed to ensure full compliance of all security requirements. Candidate will work as part of security team to review and appropriately apply Secure Technical Implementation Guidance (STIG) documents published by DISA IASE. The IA Engineer must be able to perform in a fast paced environment with multiple releases and multiple baselines.
Previous experience with DISA STIGs and IAVMs is required with experience with customer interfacing, System Security Engineering experience; development of SSAA/ISP documents,
Windows and/or Linux operating system experience, Network Administration, familiarity with RMF certification and accreditation experience. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Master’s degree.
Cybersecurity Systems Engineering with system security lifecycle certification and accreditation experience, requirements analysis, Integrated Master Schedules, Configuration Management.
Candidate must have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, along with familiarity with CISSP standards and best practices for Systems Engineering, demonstrated ability to own the process and move forward with minimal direction. Candidate must demonstrate good communication skills and must be able to communicate on all levels both orally and in writing with managers
Familiarity with training and logistics solutions,
CISSP certification or equivalent,
Experience with a structured requirements management tool (e.g. DOORS),
Experience using UML or SysML in system engineering activities,
System Engineering experience,
CMMI Level 4/5 experience,
DoDAF experience, and
International program experience.
