The award winning One Spa has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Receptionist.

This exciting role will see you supervising the reception team to deliver outstanding service levels in retail and membership sales.

We are looking for a hands-on experienced candidate, who has a strong customer service background in spa and/or hospitality. Experience working in a luxury environment is an advantage. If you are looking to develop your career in Spa Management, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

The role is a full time, permanent position, working 40 hours per week across 7 days, to include weekends and involves Early and Late shift cover with the earliest start time of 6am and the latest finish time of 10.30pm as well as duty manager shifts overseeing the entire spa operation.


Working with the spa management team, the role involves supervision and development of the Spa Reception and Spa Attendants, ensuring that all operational procedures, codes of conduct and standards of appearance are adhered to by all. Ensure that bookings are made to maximise the business and aim to give all clientele the best possible service.

You will be leading, supporting and motivating the Spa Reception and Spa Attendant Team. You will also demonstrate initiative at all times and project a pleasant, positive and professional image.

This is a hands on role where you will also be responsible alongside the teams for welcoming guests, answering spa enquiries, cash handling and observing set standards.

You will ensure that you have full liaison with all team members of the Spa & Hotel departments, you will have strong communication, organisational and team working skills and work to impeccable 5 star standards. You will be expected to also cover Duty Manager shifts overseeing the entire spa operation.

Attributes Required:

  • Previous experience in leading/supervising a team

  • Previous experience in a client facing role within a luxury five star environment a distinct advantage

  • Experience of working with hotel/spa booking and scheduling software

  • Excellent written and spoken English

  • Flexible and adaptable approach to working hours

  • Impeccable personal presentation

  • Excellent understanding of client care and five star standards

  • Genuine interest in holistic spa philosophy

  • Committed, enthusiastic, organized and customer focused

  • Ability to work reactively and proactively

  • Ability to work as part of a dedicated and passionate team
