The Industry & Solutions Team in Corporate, External and Legal Affairs (CELA) is growing and has an opportunity for you to join a team that prides itself on collaboration, learning, energy, caring, and creating wins for Microsoft and its partners and customers.

Your primary responsibility will be supporting the Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions (MCAPS) Group. In this global role, you will help us to measure, report and improve our CELA-driven commercial processes and to help develop our readiness efforts to enable our teams to drive our customers’ digital transformation.

This position can be located in Redmond, WA or remote within the U.S.



  • Conducting analysis of the effectiveness of our commercial processes and implementing improvements.

  • Gathering insights from commercial escalations and converting those into readiness materials.

  • Generating reports to provide progress updates and insights on our commercial programs to senior leaders.

  • Developing training materials and communications plans for the launch of new/updated tools and processes.

  • Managing the development and deployment of readiness projects.

  • 5+ years project, program, operations or process management, paralegal, or equivalent experience.

  • Excellent communication and project management skills and the ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in the face of competing priorities.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, changing environment.

  • Ability to handle multiple stakeholders, work streams and prioritize as needed.

  • Strong and demonstrated ability to organize and create efficient processes and programs.

  • Agile and openness to adapting practice in response to evolving business strategies and transformation.

  • Service-oriented and customer-obsessed.

  • Enthusiastic “team player” who enjoys partnering with cross-functional teams to solve complex issues, invest in others, and work collaboratively to generate consensus across diverse points of view.

  • Familiarity with legal terms and concepts preferred, but not required.


  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A.) and/or experience in relevant fields (e.g., project, program, operations or process management or work as a paralegal).
