Accountemps is looking for a TAX PREPARER role to add to a growing company in the Lehigh Valley. This TAX PREPARER position will be responsible for income tax preparation for individuals and companies. Identifies potential tax credits and liabilities and ensures accurate and complete returns are filed in a timely manner. Completes tax forms in accordance with policies and in compliance with legislation and regulations. A detailed-orientated candidate will thrive in this TAX PREPARER role!

RESPONSIBILITIES

-Compute taxes owed by following tax code.

-Prepare or assist in preparing simple to complex tax returns for individuals or small businesses.

-Advise against potential tax liabilities.

-Review financial records such as income statements and documentation of expenditures.

-Verify totals on past forms for accuracy.

-Resolve customer complaints.

-Prepare tax returns using electronic filing software.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

1+ years' experience with tax preparations

Proficient in Microsoft Suite

Ability to work in a team environment
