2021 Summer Graduate Intern - Pharma - MS Portfolio Maximization

This role will support the creation and implementation of innovative strategies that will distinguish the Novartis MS Portfolio in the market, enable performance over the brand life cycle, and drive competi-tive readiness of the portfolio.
MS Portfolio innovation generation: work closely with cross-functional commercial teams (e.g., HCP, Patient, PSS, Market Access) to identify and prioritize areas of market need where innovative thinking and business model evolution would drive market competitiveness and performance.
Drive implementation of 1-2 key innovation projects that will strengthen our MS Portfolio. Define key performance metrics for project success and collaborate with and influence cross-functional team to deliver results.
MS Portfolio Maximization: define the appropriate patient profiles for our portfolio products and pre-pare messaging and key marketing tactics for appropriate patient segment.
Gilenya LoE planning: prepare for various LoE scenarios based on timing and number of generic en-trants.
Support lifecycle management planning for Ofatumumab and Mayzent: work with commercial, medi-cal, and GDD to identify life cycle opportunities that can deliver value to patients. Oversee develop-ment and implementation of identified opportunities.
Support competitive readiness of the MS Portfolio: constantly monitor competitive intelligence data and report key insights and implications for our portfolio. Organize workshops to do deep dives on key competitors and develop proactive strategies that will enable success of Novartis MS Portfolio. Over-see implementation of these strategies.
Support Neuroscience LPT: gather insights from cross-functional team, ensure projects are on track, and participate in key LPT meetings and workshops.
Support annual cross-functional brand strategy process to ensure innovation is embedded into brand plan
Partner with Insights & Analytics to ensure that the brand strategies are grounded in insight and new learning is captured and used to assess the effectiveness of strategies
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
*Achievement of brand financial and other market based performance targets
*Creation of innovative programs that differentiate the brand and position the brand for success
*Ability to influence cross-functional teams outside of immediate sphere in order to deliver results for the portfolio
*Seen as valued and collaborative business partner
*Contribution to engagement and productivity of broader team
*Adherence to compliance guidelines and policies of NPC

Candidate should be in an accredited degree-granting college or university pursuing a graduate degree
