Position Description:

Position Summary:

The Parts Coordinator manages the parts room and distribution of parts. Responsibilities include shipping and receiving of parts, updating transactional data in the system, transferring parts between resources, inputting all cycle count results into handheld and managing parts inventory. The Parts Coordinator is responsible for maintaining a neat and orderly parts room.

People or Process Management Responsibility: No

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Pick and deliver parts orders

  • Ship parts

  • Maintain parts room

  • Ensure inventory accuracy

  • Receive parts orders

  • Data entry and stock parts room

  • Perform tasks in SAP system

  • Invoice billing and account payable

  • Performs parts audits

  • Quotes to vendors

  • Assist with distribution of parts to associates

  • Performs any other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

Required Skills and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • 2 years’ previous inventory control or parts management experience required.

  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds repeatedly

  • Previous experience ordering industrial machinery parts

  • Knowledge of motor drives and cylinders

  • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

BASIS and SAP experience preferred

Physical Demands and Work Environment :

  • Ability to handle exposure to all temperature changes, high noise levels, and safely working around moving equipment.
