Nuance Clinical Associate in Durham, North Carolina
The Clinical Associate will work in close partnership with the Clinical Operations Specialist to support expansion of Dragon Ambient eXperience virtual documentation services for new specialty customers.
The individual will focus on clinical documentation and provide high quality documentation support to our customers. As we go-live with new clinicians, ensure clinical documentation meets our quality standards.
Work closely with DAX leadership team to expand virtual documentation services to new specialty customers.
Partner with DAX product team to develop, review, and deploy standardized documentation to be used across a specialty and/or practice.
Provide clinical documentation for client go-lives to set initial documentation expectations with new customers.
Define new business processes as business evolves.
Lead prescriptive deployment of DAX services to new accounts and act as champion for Nuance technologies.
Communicate with DAX customers to resolve quality or workflow concerns, adapt service delivery to meet customer requirements.
Provide documentation feedback to Quality Documentation Specialist (QDS) during and post implementation in conjunction with DAX QDS Training team.
Collaborate with DAX Training team to develop QDS training materials and to provide subject matter expertise for other teams.
Complete quality checks for initial documentation and ensure smooth handoff to formal Quality Assurance.
Responsible for security of products, tools, and processes under Clinical Associate’s purview.

Qualifications & Required Skills: - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Professional experience in clinical documentation (scribe, MA, tech, coder, admin, etc.)
Experience with Athena, Epic, Allscripts, Cerner, Nextech or EMA.
Ability to multi-task with attention to detail.
Experience in training scribes or managing a scribe program.
Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
Strong work ethic.
Ability to consistently meet deadlines.
Innovative trouble shooter, consistently strives for process improvement.
