IQVIA Associate Director, Talent & Learning in Durham, North Carolina

Provide support for the continuous improvement of the Talent & Learning (T&L) function through development and implementation of innovative GTM, Consulting, and Marketing Learning and Development programs. With some guidance from manager, provide expertise, support and advice to partner teams either locally, regionally, globally or by function.

Develop strong and effective team relationships with strategic GTM team members to identify and develop future skills needed to meet the evolving strategic goals of the GTM, consulting and marketing strategy

Establish and maintain effective communications with other L&D functional areas to ensure delivery and outcomes are in alignment with strategy and design

Consult with business units or work groups and perform qualitative and quantitative assessments around specific business performance-related issues, extract insight, propose new learning solutions and bring the resources of the T&L/Human Resources community together to resolve

Create a one-stop-shop (portal/ website) for housing upskilling and reskilling training channels and resources for Client-facing partners

Partner with instructional designers and subject matter experts, and be accountable for course materials for training sessions and /or facilitate training programs for employees or through assigned vendors

Initiate and continue regular communication with management of business line(s) to determine applicability of course content and training satisfaction levels

Participate in the execution of effective and efficient delivery of training programs using various modalities such as instructor-led and technology-based training. This includes onboarding programs for client-facing roles

Measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the training programs and make recommendations to appropriate L&D functional area. Communicate resource needs to appropriate management as needed

Keep up to date on market trends and current development especially in the area of sales or client facing topics. Maintain a network of professional training contacts

Conduct course evaluations and make recommendations for continuous improvement. Identify and make recommendations for the learning program

Ensure training administrators regularly update Learning Management System

Provide input to the training budget and expenses within assigned budget allocations, including vendor contract

Experience

10 years experience in training assessment, design, facilitation, delivery and evaluation experience

Equivalent combination of education, training and experience
