Position Overview: Prepares and dumps staged ingredients for mixing, Weighs, measures and meters ingredients into blend tanks. Adjusts batched to meet product specifications. Cleans and sanitizes equipment.
Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:
Able to work an eight hour shift with overtime as required and works any shift as directed.
Blend products according to process orders and meeting specifications.
Maintain GMP requirements of blend area.
Use related company hardware and software.
Clean and sanitize blend tanks and ingredient lines.
Document inventory levels and traceability logs.
Monitor product usage and keep records.
Identify and report problems.
Perform additional processing responsibilities as assigned.
Education Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent.
Related Work Experience:Prior food processing experience preferred.Functional Skills:
Able to see, hear, smell, feel and taste.
Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
Walk on blend platforms, climb stairs and ladders,
Visual ability to read instruments and instructions on blend process orders.
Able to lift and dump containers or bags of ingredients weighing up to 45 lbs, turn manual valves, draw off samples and use control panels.
Use Operator Interface Terminals (OITs) and PC terminals.
Obtain a forklift license and safely transfer raw materials.
