Job Summary:

The Supply Chain Security Regional Program Manager, assigned to one of Pinkerton's largest global clients, will develop and manage regional supply chain security strategies, programs, and projects. The Manager conducts risk assessments and creates operational plans to mitigate potential losses while partnering with stakeholders and vendors to implement best in class program standards.

Essential Functions:

  • Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.

  • Develop and manage scalable and consistent comprehensive supply chain security programs, strategies, and project-based initiatives for designated regions.

  • Assess the supply chain landscape and recommend modifications to security plans and supply chain security operations at both the regional and global level;

  • Define and implement processes and procedures.

  • Maintain a recognized best in class supply chain security program.

  • Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and threats within the supply chain that could lead to leaks, loss, or possible damage to the client's assets.

  • Create operational plans to execute supply chain security risk mitigation solutions effectively and efficiently.

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams, stakeholders, freight forwarders, distribution centers, refurbishment centers, 3PL partners/vendors, and the client's Trade Operations, Legal, Risks Management teams, to ensure alignment with supply chain security objectives.

  • Maximize partnerships with internal and external management staff from business teams across verticals that include Engineers, Logistics, Customer Service, and other 3PLs.

  • Conduct on-site audits of vendors and transit lanes where the client's product is regularly moved and/or stored, manufactured, or developed.

  • Implement a metric collection process to analyze and evaluate data captured to measure scale of growth, support, resource management, and performance.

  • Partner with external service providers to leverage cargo security resources and to monitor compliance with contractual security requirements.

  • Assist with global trade security programs such as C-TPAT and participate with others in global and regional trade security initiatives.

  • Implement continuous improvements within the supply chain program and design security program process structure and flows to support various projects.

  • All other duties, as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

Bachelor's degree with at least eight years of supply chain security or freight forwarding operational management experience. Skilled in managing complex, multi country supply chain security projects and programs, involving multiple stakeholders while coordinating third party vendors is required. Competencies:

  • Deep understanding of relevant regional and/or country specific trade and regulatory compliance standards.

  • TAPA requirements, C-TPAT, AEO and other trade security certification, preferred.

  • Working knowledge with global partners in freight forwarding, infrastructure, and/or manufacturing sectors, preferred.

  • Data analysis and reporting proficiency.

  • Effective verbal, written, presentation communication skills.

  • Strong project management experience.

  • Strategic thinker, who can also support operations when necessary.

  • Strong planning and organizational skills.

  • Able to work closely with cross-functional teams across all levels of the organization.
