JOB TITLE: Guest Sales Associate
DEPARTMENT: Front of House Operations
REPORTS TO: Guest Sales Supervisor
CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time , Non-Exempt
Under the direction of the Guest Sales Supervisor , the Guest Sales Associate will be responsible for processing admissions, ticket sales, and all aspects of membership sales.
Execute all aspects of the visitor admission check- in process.
Perform all Call Center duties to include events and programming support.
Be knowledgeable of all museum daily and future events and activities to provide support to internal and external inquires.
Sell and upsell memberships to generate revenue to meet departmental goals as set forth by the Guest Sales Manager
Be responsive in addressing members and individual guests with unique inquires or concerns
Maintain confidential and accurate records of all financial transactions
Perform other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Two (2) years of college, associate degree, or equivalent experience in sales or customer service, cash handling, and/or call center experience. Additional years of experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
