Your Role: What you'll be doing Job responsibilities for this role include: Perform Electromagnetic Interference / Compatibility (EMI / EMC) analysis relating to launch vehicles and payload integration. Review customer EMI / EMC requirements. Implement and maintain EMI / EMC Control Plans. Review electrical and mechanical drawings for requirement verification. Support electrical and mechanical design engineers with detailed guidance on EMC design. Present / participate in Design Reviews and Engineering Review Boards. Develop and coordinate qualification test requirements. Support EMI / EMC qualification testing at suppliers; review and disposition test results. Work with internal and external customers to coordinate issues and provide recommendations for resolution. Provide EMI / EMC support to the production factory and launch sites. Support ULA sites with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) requirements and implementation of protection. Conduct in-house EMI / EMC testing in ULA's EMC lab.

Your Background: What education and experience you'll need Requires a bachelor's degree and 2 - 6 years of experience.

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field from an accredited college or university is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office Applications. Troubleshooting, problem-solving, coordination, and presentation skills. General data review skills. Ability to work effectively with others, independently, and open to constructive feedback. Aggressive about solving issues and act with a sense of urgency. Available to travel 10%. Experience with circuit design and analysis for EMI field effects. Experience testing circuits for EMI/EMC and knowledge of EMI/EMC test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, amplifiers, antennas, oscilloscopes, LISNs, etc. Experience with RF communications, coursework, projects, labs, antenna design, etc.

Summary Salary Range (Colorado Only) $78,718 - $122,947

Please note that the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon a candidate's experience and qualifications, as well as internal equity, market and business considerations. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in addition to base pay.
