ConcurrentHRO Broker Assistant in Denver, Colorado

Our Client in Denver Colorado is looking for a Broker assistant / Customer Service Representative who fills a vital role responsible for ensuring the growth and support of our employee benefits brokerage department.

The primary goal of this position is to maintain the retention, daily servicing and quoting the group employee benefits medical and ancillary marketplace.

Key Job Functions:

Builds enhance and maintains effective relationships with clients to ensure a high level of client satisfaction, retention, and profitability.

Quoting of medical and ancillary group benefits with various carriers Identifies and resolves client issues including claims, eligibility, billing and plan administration, in a timely and collaborative manner.

Maintain a broad knowledge base of carrier products and underwriting requirements.

Analysis and understanding of the group insurance programs.

Preparation of renewal and new business proposals, presentation materials, and supporting documents.

Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

Required Experience:

Minimum of 3 years? experience working with Employee Benefit Programs in a brokerage or carrier setting.

Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite - specifically Excel.

Excellent organizational, communication and writing skills.

Excellent abstract reasoning and analytical abilities.

Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment in stressful situations.

Skilled at balancing tight timelines and competing priorities while maintaining a customer-focused positive attitude.

Ability to anticipate and satisfy client needs and expectations.

Current Colorado State Life and Health License.
