Job Title: Sr. Financial Analyst

Job Description

A leading building material company in Deerfield Beach is looking to add a Sr. FP&A Analyst to their team to replace someone who is relocating out of state. This company has a period of heavy growth planned over the next couple years and in the immediate future needs help with their 2025 budget, for which planning kicks off at the start of October. Please see below for a list of responsibilities and qualifications:

• Engage with management to gain an understanding of underlying reasons for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results and historical trends.

• Develop and maintain financial models to support the strategic planning, budgeting, and forecast processes.

• Consolidate Company-wide financial forecasts including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.

• Develop clear, concise, and insightful presentations summarizing the key elements of financial and operating performance for management meetings.

• Provide support to management through ad-hoc financial analyses and reporting.

• Engage with operating management to prepare and prioritize capital expenditure authorization requests including financial evaluation of alternatives and expected business benefits.

• Maintain a knowledge base of industry, market, and micro/macro economic conditions. Review and summarize published competitor performance for relevant comparisons to company performance.

• Exhibit effective interaction and relationship skills with all levels of management including accounting, operations, general management, and leadership.

• Manage multiple projects and seamlessly move from one project to another.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Deerfield Beach, Florida.

Work Environment

Position will report to Manager FP&A. Department head and 2 other Analysts who transitioned from temporary to permanent employees.
