PURPOSE

Will act as a senior program leader as well as coordinate project efforts related to all merger and acquisitions, as well as all Field Training Team projects. Will work collaboratively on a range of project work including, but not limited to technology changes, process redesign, and various integration activities. Must be capable of working with project teams from various functions to successfully drive plans to completion, under aggressive timelines, in dynamically evolving technology environments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as program leader to drive large project teams in developing strategic integration plans, dependencies and timelines. Develops and leverages relationships and knowledge at all levels of staff to deliver project solutions

  • Partner with business leaders before, during and after the M&A processes to ensure businesses are integrated efficiently and fully optimized from an IT perspective.

  • Lead customary IT due diligence efforts including the evaluation of information from various sources (data rooms, financial statements, contracts, internal resources, etc.) for use in economic modeling and structuring transactions.

  • Keeps projects and teams focused on the original alignment with company strategy and develops reporting to show value

  • Works with all levels of the business to manage the execution of deliverables related to the company strategy.

  • Evaluate the company’s business functions at a market or regional level and determine potential impediments to implementing the targeted ERP within their organizations.

  • Lead discussions with their Team Leads regarding the market or area’s future-state changes and accurately identify gaps through fit/gap analysis. Guide Team Lead in defining solutions to any gaps.

  • Discuss BFS or industry best practices at other locations within the location’s Line of Business.

  • Determine the unique data conversion or process changes required at the area or market level.

  • Conduct area or market level kick-off meetings with their management teams.

  • Travel to business location and perform travel-scheduling activities.

  • Assists in creating culture within group that aligns with department culture, and high-performance teams.

  • Works with key stakeholders on objections, presents compelling arguments to overcome them; Maintains credibility with key stakeholders

  • Identifies/defines the appropriate change management scope, deliverables, expectations, priorities, and work plans that will mitigate / manage the risk for each project under management.

  • Assists with the creation of change plans and implements change plans

  • Informs business leaders on change and change progress

  • Effectively manages budgets for project

  • Provides feedback and coaching to middle management on individual and organizational behavior, in support of the achievement of the key business changes.

  • Provides regular communications status to Senior Manager.

  • Understanding and observing all safety procedures and practices and ensuring that he/she and team members observe all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injuries or damage.

  • Responsible to grow one’s expertise in at least two functional areas that could include executive stakeholder engagement, training, communications, organizational design, resistance management, and deployment.

  • Other duties as may be assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 15 years related work experience in directing and leading the people side of organizational transitions. Industry knowledge preferred. Minimum 5 years program management experience. Direct experience and successful track record with managing complex, integrated programs.

  • Manages multiple projects and must be well organized to keep proper focus on each

  • Manages and reports on change projects with a high level of preparation

  • Prepares communications and professionally communicates verbally and in writing to all stakeholders

  • Recognized as a subject matter expert / professional advisor in more than one functional area

  • Asks key questions to surface issues, facilitates discussions to design solutions, and can present material in a succinct fashion to the executive team

  • Well prepared for all business meetings; offers input

  • Develops and leverages relationships and knowledge at all levels of staff, including executive staff, to deliver project solutions

  • Creates culture within group that aligns with department culture, and high performance teams

  • Ability to influence, coach, and teach not only the team but other functions including operations at all levels (including executive)

  • Knows how to align projects with company strategy and report on value

  • Requires minimal supervision and reports to leadership in a timely manner, consults with leadership on projects

  • Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, work break down structure, and resource management

  • Adheres to professional appearance standards

  • Demonstrates high integrity

  • Minimal oversight needed

  • Champions a culture of accountability and shared purpose among others and cross functional groups

  • Work is in an office setting and at field operations sites, it is generally sedentary with physical effort associated with using a computer; involves significant walking around company facilities and properties.

  • Up to 80% travel including evenings and weekend
