Responsibilities:

  • Experience with Integrated Topside Design (ITD), EMP, E3, EMI, EMC, E3 Computation and Modeling, EMC Shipboard Electromagnetic Compatibility, EMC Acquisition Electromagnetic Compatibility, EMI problem investigation, characterization, and quantification, E3 instructions, standards, policies and procedures, EMC document review, EMC and RADHAZ certification, EMC SHIPMAIN technical assessments, EMC acquisition engineering and EMI analysis, EMI planned maintenance systems, EMC certification infrastructure, EMC certification, Fleet Response Plans, EMI fix engineering, technical program support, CASREP EMI investigations, and EMI characterization and quantification

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 12+ years of experience with engineering technical topics related to Topside equipment aboard U.S. Navy Mine, Amphibious, Auxiliary and Command (MACC) ships, Carriers, or Surface Combatant

  • 7+ years of experience in Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI)/Electro Magnetic Certification (EMC) analysis

Additional Requirements:

  • Due to the requirements in the Safer Federal Workforce Taskforce guidance and the nature of our covered contracts and facilities, all employees may need to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have a legal exemption with approved accommodation.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in the U.S. Navy military as an Electronics Material Officer (EMO), System Test Officer (STO), Electronics Technician Chief/Senior Chief (ETC/ETCS), Fire Control Chief/Senior Chief (FCC/FCCS)Experience with Autodesk products

Education: Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, scientific, or related technical field

Minimum Clearance: Secret
