The Job

The Post Delivery Studio Manager is responsible for structure of, development and integration of Post Delivery workflows between HBO, HBO MAX, WBTV, and various WarnerMedia divisions.

The Daily

  • Work closely with HBO Post and Post Delivery Executives to streamline and integrate HBO, HBO MAX, Warner Brothers Sound, WBTV workflows, protocols and procedures for Post Delivery assets.

  • Develop AVOD protocol and be the liaison between numerous WarnerMedia departments, Post Executives, outside producers, and show personnel to structure and facilitate the AVOD Pipeline from Shows to Techwood delivery.

  • Be required to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Will create and complete detailed tracking and delivery spreadsheets to ensure elements are created and delivered correctly and deadlines met. Interface with Content Enhancement to ensure the timely delivery of assets to LATAM.

  • Track credit structures on the shows, (Main Titles at Front vs. Main Titles at the End, credit waivers, etc.)

  • Track additional episode versions as required for delivery to CW.

  • Work with the Post Delivery Executive team to update and revise HBO Delivery Requirement packages as required by new workflows and technologies.

  • Integrate HBO and HBO MAX deliverables with the goal of creating unified Delivery Requirements for both teams.

  • Effectively communicate and serve as liaison for various groups within WarnerMedia (Content Acquisition, Content Enhancement, Promo, Marketing, International Versioning, Programming, and Technical Services) as well as groups external to the Company (Post-Production vendors, editorial staff, etc.).

  • Be responsible for working with various film, digital and audio assets to be used for ancillary markets. The delivery of these elements must meet exact technical specifications as well as strict deadlines.

  • Work with the Post Delivery team in conjunction with the Archive staff to streamline Archival delivery procedures for HBO and HBO MAX.

  • The candidate must have strong Post-Production knowledge, attention to detail, problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills. Executive presence is essential for this position.

The Essentials

  • Minimum 8 years Post-Production experience, 4 of which must be in a supervisory capacity.

  • The ideal candidate should have actual experience in the field, managing editorial and sound editorial processes for films and series.

  • Candidate must also have strong team leadership skills and be able to guide production personnel through the delivery requirements process.

  • Must possess extensive working knowledge of 1] digital, video, audio and film elements; 2] current and emerging Post-Production workflows/technologies and 3] network and broadcast delivery and quality control requirements.

  • Must be able to communicate in technical terms with vendors and Post-Production specialists, including but not limited to mixers, editors, and producers.

  • Must be detail-oriented and be able to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment and cope with ever-changing production schedules and delivery deadlines.
