Actalent Scientist - Clinical Manufacturing in Columbus, Ohio
Responsible for assisting and leading operations in the support of the production of cell lines used to generate the viral vector products used in clinical trials.
Learn all aspects of mammalian cell culture growth and expansion
Anticipate, solve, correct, and prevent problems including error trending and CAPA implementation.
Identifies areas for process improvement.
Draft and revise SOPs and controlled documents.
Uphold a clean and safe work environment.
Operate within the Quality Management System applicable to the manufacture of phase appropriate material in a clean room environment.
Maintain compliance with applicable regulatory requirements for gene therapy products.
BS degree in a scientific field but Ideal would be chemistry or biology
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the scientific industry
Cellular/ mammalian cell experience
Knowledge and understanding of aseptic technique, cell culture, liquid separation techniques and/ or fluid handling.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office
