Huntington National Bank Product Group Manager- Consumer Deposits in Columbus, Ohio
DescriptionThe Product Group Manager, Consumer Deposits will manage all aspects of the P&L for Consumer DDA & Consumer Interest DDA products. This position will define the products, strategy, and execution to meet revenue growth targets. Additioanly, this role will drive balance build initiatives by collaborating with Marketing, Sales, Digital, and Training.Additional details for this highly visible and exciting role are as followings:
Establish the strategic direction for consumer checking products
Manage the P&L of consumer checking to meet revenue and expense targets.
Analyze and review products and recommend changes to maximize competitiveness, customer experience, and profitability.
Forecast and monitor all drivers of the business: accounts, balances, margin, expense, etc. Create and revise financial projections for the current month, quarter, and year.
Formulate and implement new marketing initiatives, product features, sales training, digital capabilities and IT projects to increase acquisition, retention, and profit.
Partner with key stakeholders from marketing, sales, digital, technology, legal, risk, and compliance to ensure mutual goals are achieved.
Maintain an awareness of new trends and developments within the HNB regions and segments.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required,
7+ years of retail banking and/or product management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree preferred
Previous working that showcases outstanding leadership skills
Proven analytical ability (data mining/manipulation, forecasting)
Must have the appropriate financial management experience and analytical capability to translate hard data into strategic plans
Demonstrated ability to quickly analyze situations and risks, determine paths of action, and execute flawlessly
Experience in project planning and management, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Excellent skills with the MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Candid and concise communication skills
Excellent executive-level presentation skills
Must be savvy and passionate about driving results and innovation
