Associate Network Administrator - Colorado Springs, CO

You will be part of a 5-10 member team that works closely with the customer and other Serco teams to deliver quality systems. The team has been recognized by the customers for their outstanding contributions to several contracts and programs .

Serco is seeking an Associate Network Administrator to join our team supporting the U.S. Space Force (USSF) on this contract. The Associate Network Administrator will provide network Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of the Global Command and Control System (GCCS) and Space Command Digital Integrated Network (SDIN) throughout the USSF.

In this role, you will:

  • Design, install, maintain, and coordinate the use of the network systems.

  • Evaluate hardware, software, and peripheral equipment.

  • Manage network performance to maintain high quality transmission service on the network.

  • Maintain and create/delete user accounts, maintain, and update system security plans on all platforms.

  • Implement and coordinate network policies, procedures, and standards.

  • Enforce security procedures.

  • Supervises and schedules the network technician staff and trains users.

  • Supports other contract functional areas as required.


To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree (in Computer Science or related field) and 2 years of related experience. An Associate’s Degree and 4 years of related experience or High School Diploma and 6 years of related experience, in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree.

  • Must possess a Secret clearance.

  • Must be flexible with shift work in a 24x7x365 work center.

  • Requires IAT Level 2 certification

  • Experience in Windows/Solaris 10 and LAN/WAN network architectures.

  • Experience with Cisco and/or juniper networking equipment.

  • Experience with the GCCS and/or SDIN.

In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $60,736.00 to $91,312.00; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
