Job Overview

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) or equivalent with post-master's certification in education Experience: 5 years of clinical pediatric experience Equivalency: Certification(s): BLS/CPR from the American Heart Association with at least 6 months left before expiration is required upon hire, American Nurses Credentialing Center(ANCC) or Magnet approved certification. Licensure(s): Current Colorado RN License

Department Name: CSH MedSurg Job Status: 40 hours/week Shift: This is a dayshift position, Monday through Friday. There is some flexibility in the hours to meet the educational needs of the unit. This position is a member of the MedSurg leadership team and will be expected to be an active member and positively represent leadership to others within CSH and across the system. There are no weekend/holiday commitment expectations.

Qualifications

The Clinical Education Specialist job description is in alignment with the Association of Nurses in Professional Development (ANPD). ANPD is the practice and thought leader for nursing professional development and the specialty practice organization upon which education specialists base their professional activities.
