Description Robert Half currently has a first-rate opportunity for a highly-skilled and motivated Human Resources Assistant. The Human Resources Assistant will be responsible for handling a number of different personnel related administrative tasks and will provide clerical support to the HR department and employees regarding human resources related activities, policies, processes, and procedures. This opening is with an organization in the Cleveland, Ohio area and is a short-term contract / contract / contract / contract / temporary to permanent position.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee database records

• Perform various administrative duties

• Take part in new employee on-boarding orientation planning

• Explore the internet to track down potential customers Requirements - Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills

• Have prior experience in office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)

• Past experience handling confidential business matters and information with discretion

• Department Files experience required

• Data Transfer experience

• Solid understanding of Human Resources (HR) Administration

• Capability to interact with all levels of staff in a rapidly quickly changing environment while maintaining an approachable and appropriate demeanor

• Willing to work as part of a team or independently and have the drive to take on a variety of tasks and projects
