Job Purpose and Impact
The Senior Supply & Inventory Planner will create long/medium term supply plans while partnering cross functionally to coordinate supply chain execution plans in our Canadian Softseeds Crush finished goods network. In this role, you will monitor key integrated business planning performance indicators, cost to serve performance data, and help coordinate execution across functional work teams. Also within this role, you will partner with Commercial, Transportation, and Operations stakeholders to ensure our supply chain performance meets our demand customer experience expectations.
Winnipeg, Manitoba is the preferred location and relocation may be provided if required.
Key Accountabilities
Create long/medium term supply plans for assigned products and locations as input for the integrated business planning cycle.
Generate and execute cycle and safety stock plans for the assigned product or location.
Develop gap coverage plans during finished goods inventory shortages or transportation delays.
Maintain data relevant to network distribution planning activities including capacity and logistics plans to meet customer expectations.
Identify and execute continuous improvement and cost savings intiatives that drive improved supply chain process maturity.
Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Diploma/Certificate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of four years of related work experience
Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
Preferred Qualifications
Six years of experience with at least three in supply and inventory planning
Strong knowledge of Canada and US crush and grain handling networks
Customer facing supply chain experience
