PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (SUMMARY) Reporting directly to the Drumming Supervisor the Drumming Operator is responsible for packaging, loading, and unloading material within a warehouse or storage facility using drums and totes. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Education, Credentials, Licenses: A High School Diploma, GED, or earning within a designated period of time following your date of hire; Position-specific vocational education/experience, training, or certification is preferred; Sit-down forklift certification required; in house certification will be provided prior to start. Kind & Length of Experience: Experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is preferred Prior experience utilizing hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, pumps, or other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks and tanks is preferred. Physical Requirements: Able to work in extreme climates (high/low) Able to walk up stairs, climb ladders, and walk long distances Able to independently lift up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis during shift. PERFORMANCE MEASURES AND STANDARDS Comply with all customer, regulatory, and quality requirements in the performance of all tasks as set forth in the company's policies and procedures Keep equipment and work area clean and organized Basic computer skills Understand and follow instructions to package various chemicals into drums and pails Operate various process equipment including pumps, agitators, valves, and steam heating systems Produce Star glycerin from a mixture of glycerin and water Load and unload trucks as needed Unload empty drums from trailers Operate drum fill machines Shrink wrap and palletize drums Verify and double-check final product packaged weight to insure it meets customer expectations Inspect and label drums, ensure proper closure, and store drums according to accepted standards Adhere to all Environmental, Health, Safety, Security Requirements covered under Local State and Federal Regulations. Follow all RC14001 guiding principles, policies, procedures and other requirements. Maintain Hazardous waste in accordance to all Local, State and Federal Regulations. Other duties as requested.
