In this role, you’ll be using your attention to detail and your passion for customer service to provide administrative and operational support for executive recruiting as well as for key Enterprise initiatives. You’ll work with some of Caterpillar’s most senior leaders as well as best in class candidates from around the world, to make the recruiting, interviewing and selection process a positive experience. In this role, you’ll also be supporting key projects by coordinating schedules among a wide variety of people both internal and external to the Company, and by making sure that everyone you interact with has confidence that if they have any questions, you will be able to team with others to provide them the information they need, when they need it.

Job Duties

  • Provide administrative support to the Executive recruiting team by ensuring hiring managers and candidates have timely information throughout the process, ensuring key recruiting process steps are followed on-time and by scheduling meetings and interviews..

  • Provide administrative support to key Enterprise talent initiatives by sharing key information with a variety of individuals and groups, ensuring timely responses to questions and scheduling a variety of meetings with individuals from around the world

  • Contribute to a positive team environment while establishing working relationships with a variety of individuals and teams

  • Assist recruiters in general recruiting and sourcing activities, this includes the coordination of background screens, and drug tests

  • Employ online and offline content strategies to create brand awareness

  • Use business judgement to maintain confidentiality and to follow all processes and regulatory requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of administrative assistant or recruiting/talent acquisition coordinator experience

Top Candidates will also have

  • 1-3 years experience in Recruiting

  • Experience using Workday for recruiting

  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools including Outlook and Teams

  • Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in work

  • Succinct communication skills and experience communicating with executives

  • Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to team well with a variety of individuals

  • Agility –ability to adjust direction as needed

  • Customer Service Focus: ability to anticipate customer needs and take action as needed to address those needs. Respond with a high sense of urgency.

  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize, handle multiple assignments at any given time and navigate a variety of stakeholders to achieve the desired results

Additional Information

  • This position would ideally be located in Peoria, IL; Chicago IL, Irving, TX; Schertz, TX Dallas TX; Nashville, TN; and Montgomery, AL however open to considering other Caterpillar facilities within the U.S. (candidates permanent address must be within 50-mile driving distance to a Caterpillar facility)
