This Software Engineering Manager will be part of our Commercial Digital Banking platform transformation and modernization journey. It is an ideal position for a manager seeking an environment that practices state of the art AI technologies, cloud platform and mobile technologies.
In this role, you will:
Manage several scrum teams comprised of individual contributor engineers, automation engineers, junior and senior engineers
Help create foundational framework for building a native application for Commercial Banking mobile applications
Ensure the craftsmanship, security, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions developed by the teams or third party providers
Engage in mentoring and guiding the professional and technical development of experienced engineers
Identify and recommend opportunities for developing product functional and technical strategies for the domains, as well as the development of actionable short and long-term product roadmaps, by partnering with business product managers, lead systems architects, and more experienced engineers
Make decisions and resolve issues regarding strategic products of engineering teams to meet business objectives
Oversee engineering teams to deliver commitments aligned to strategic product priorities
Interpret and develop security, stability, and scalability within key areas of technology risk
Collaborate and consult with agile teams and product managers to drive outcomes
Interact directly with third party vendors and technology service providers
Manage allocation of people and financial resources for technology engineering
Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
Attract and retain top talent to work in a hybrid environment
Required Qualifications, US:
4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
2+ years of Leadership experience
5+ years in building mobile native applications
5+ years in delivering middleware applications
5+ years in building APIs and services focused on mobile platform
Experience in continuous integration, testing and deployment.
Experience in building enterprise mobile platforms
Ability to steer architecture discussions and ensure that high quality product is delivered consistently
Selected candidate will be required to work within one of the following Wells Fargo locations: 1525 W. W.T. Harris Blvd. Charlotte, NC; 2222 W. Rose Garden Ln, Phoenix, AZ; 4975 Preston Park Blvd Plano, TX.
