Aerotek Grading Foreman - Urgent Needs!! in Charlotte, North Carolina

Description:

A Licensed General Contractor

specializing in serving the Charlotte Metro area and its regional surroundings

is searching for an experience Grade Superintendent.

As an asphalt, grading, concrete,

and utility general contractor in both North and South Carolina, they

specialize in turn-key site projects in the Residential, Commercial sector, as

well as, public municipalities.

They prides themselves on

providing our customers with exceptional service, in a cost effective, safe and

proficient manner.

Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years’

experience as a foreman on commercial sites.

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years’

experience operating heavy equipment, specifically with backhoe, excavator, and

dozer, blade.

  • Must be able to read plans and

blueprints for foundations, slabs, ADA improvements, grading, site work and

elevations.

  • Must have strong coordination,

time management, active listening, communication, critical thinking and

reasoning skills.

  • Must have a valid driver’s

license with clean driving record for minimum of 3 years.

  • Must be able to work a minimum

of 5 days per week, with some Saturdays if required.

  • This is a salaried position

that will be highly competitive and based on experience.

Additional Skills &

Qualifications:

Safety OSHA or NCCER

certifications will be considered extra, but are not a must.

The Superintendent candidates are

expected to be able to operate all Heavy Grading Equipment

needed

(excavators/loaders/dozers).
