Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior SharePoint Administrator to join our team in the Chantilly, VA location.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Administration of SharePoint servers, back end SQL servers, and other supporting Windows based servers as well as system documentation

  • Supporting the installation, operation, and maintenance of all current and future secure SharePoint deployments

  • Analyzing and troubleshooting system anomalies, and ensuring optimal information system performance

  • Gathering and analyzing user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints

  • Conducting trial runs of programs and software applications to make sure they will produce the desired information and that the instructions are correct

  • Collaborating with managerial, engineering, and technical personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, and suggest changes

  • Performing revision, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements

  • Writing or contributing to instructions or manuals to guide end users.

  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

  • Requires Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems related field of study or equivalent, and five to seven years of related experience

  • DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification required (CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, Sec+, CND or SSCP)

  • DoD 8570 computing environment certification. Microsoft exam certification within 6 months of hire

  • Demonstrated ability to administer SharePoint-enabled solutions to satisfy design objectives

  • Experience in deploying, configuring and customizing SharePoint 2010

  • Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint 2010/2013, Windows 2003/2008 Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Windows XP/7, and associated server and workstation hardware and software

  • Good working knowledge of data backups, web development and web design methods

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ITIL 4 Foundation certification

  • Possess a good understanding of business applications, work with technical staff to understand and resolve software problems

  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL 2005/2008, scripting, SharePoint workflows and Records Management

  • Experience in developing and deploying custom workflow activities in SharePoint designer 2010

  • Experience securing and optimizing applications

  • Proficiency with SharePoint Designer, Windows Workflow Foundation and Visual Studio

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • US Citizenship required and active TS clearance adjudicated within the last 6 years

  • Candidate must be open to CI poly

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
