Aerotek Analytical Chemist in CHAMPAIGN, Illinois

  • Laboratory analysis with focus on food, nutritional supplements and contaminants using HPLC and other modern analytical methods.

  • Involved in non-routine projects including method development and validation, existing method verification for new product matrix, in compliance with the cGMP and ISO17025 requirements.

  • Apply HPLC and related methodologies for performing basic routine testing in compliance with nutrition supplement cGMP, ISO-17025, Quality System Management, QA/QC program and meeting customers' requirement.

  • Adhere to safety related practices of the facility, and execute analytical project with compliance to environment and safety policy.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors of Science in Chemistry, Biochemistry, OR field related w/HPLC experience

  • Experience and technical expertise in developing, validating and performing quantitative and qualitative analysis by HPLC are required

  • Familiar with various modern separation techniques.

  • Experience in a service or contract laboratory and familiarity with the USP, EPA and analytical methods by recognized bodies preferred

  • Good organization/multitasking, oral and written communication and timeline management skills
