Human Resources Specialist – Based IHG Singapore Corporate Office

Covering our South-East Asia and Korean region and reporting to the Head of HR Operations SEAK your day as a HR Specialist will never be dull.

This is a varied role supporting all HR duties for both Corporate and Hotel Operations functions across multiple markets in a fast paced, constantly evolving Internationally Renowned Hotel Chain.

Whether assisting with administrative support for current vacancies in alignment with the Talent Acquisition Manager or providing HR support for Corporate colleagues in Bangkok and Singapore you will be part of a small cohesive HR and Talent team supporting Senior Managers and colleagues alike.

Naturally solutions orientated, you will be driven by working collaborative to work out how we can make things happen and enjoy delivering often to tight deadlines.

Job Summary

  • Perform all human resources and administrative duties in support of the Business Unit’s (BU) Human Resources goals and vision. Provide employee assistance in the corporate office and serve as initial point of contact for human resources-related matters. Generating often confidential correspondence on all matters HR.

Example of Duties and Responsibilities – Corporate

  • Administrative support and system support for all SEAK vacancies (including Singapore corporate office vacancies) in alignment with the TA Manager, including pre and post-employment checks.

  • HR support for Singapore and Bangkok corporate office colleagues as directed by Director of HR and Head of HR SEAK, including but not limited to onboarding planning, communication and logistics for HR events, co-ordinating corporate internships for SLT (as directed), conducting exit interviews for corporate colleagues in both Bangkok and Singapore office (and provide feedback on reasons for turnover)

Example of Duties and Responsibilities – Operations

  • Ensure Staff and Manager awareness of HR Policies and procedures both in corporate and in the operations

  • Support for HR metrics for SEAK hotel operations

  • Logistics and organization for HR Leaders Learning event

  • Administrative support on confidential letters for GM or corporate colleagues as directed by Head of HR or HR Director

What will you bring?

At least 2 years in a HR/Talent support role in a fast paced, matrix environment.

The ability to liaise with Senior stakeholders and colleagues alike to ensure the best HR support is offered at all times.

A passion for people and an attention to detail with an organized and pro-active approach.

Proven examples of where your drive and initiative and logical problem solving skills has positively impacted the business.

Understanding the confidential nature of this role you will be discreet in nature with the ability to interact across many teams and levels.
