Motion Recruitment Partners Network Engineer in Casa Grande, Arizona

Contract | $45-60/hr | Casa Grande,Arizona

A company in the Hospitality Industry, located in Scottsdale, AZ is looking for a Network Engineer to add to their growing team. This engineer will help to design, implement, and support all network related to their cloud infrastructure. This team is starting to embrace automation as well, and the ideal candidate will possess the ability to learn quickly and strive for perfection in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in a hands on networking/infrastructure role

  • Ability to design, troubleshoot and deploy IP and wireless networks

  • Experience in isolation and remediation at layers 1-4

  • Understanding of network and routing protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP4, OSPF, RIP, ISIS, etc.

  • Experience with Aruba Clearpass

  • Understanding on LAN/WAN architectures and designs, mobile networking and cloud networking

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Expert knowledge of data center design

  • Experience with configuration and troubleshooting of Aruba & Cisco switching and routing platforms

  • Knowledge of DNS, DHCP and AD infrastructure

  • Expert knowledge of firewall technologies

    Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, a similar field or equivalent work experience

  • Experience with Ansible or Python for firewall policy automation

  • Competitive Pay: up to $60/an hour, DOE

  • Contract to hire: 6 months to conversion
