Job Description

Job Purpose : Package light weight components into finished goods/Operate Assembly machines

Reporting Structure : Reports directly department Lead on assigned shift

Job Qualification Requirements:

Teamwork – cooperative with all employees. Works well with others

Initiative – self motivated

Decision making – willing to use judgment within limits

Possess excellent hand-eye coordination and wrist dexterity

Able to work from written or verbal instructions (English)

Capable of legible printing

Have basic math skills

Capable of maneuvering and lifting 32 lbs intermittently (not required on all assembly jobs)

Capable of keeping up with a moving line

Good problem solving skills

Good organizational skills

Good communication skills.

Job Functions :


Log in and out of Flexnet computers to record production and non-production time

Work from verbal and written instructions

Notify Operator 3, Supervisor or Production Technician as appropriate of production equipment problems

Maintain safety rules and keep area clean in a clean and orderly condition

Maintain specified quality and production quantity standards.

Maintain compliance with company policies, Sage Culture and Company Mission Statement

Perform and document quality inspection of assigned production

Able to operate and read assorted scales, gauges and other measuring devices

Perform minor adjustments to assigned equipment

Participates in regular manufacturing safety meetings

Quality / Visual :

Visually and physically check product as appropriate for attributes at intervals as direct per Work Instruction Sheets and Product History Records

Visually verify all components against the Bill of Material

Physical and Visual Actives: (Performed for up to 8 hours )
