The Product Engineer is responsible for implementing new technology and robotic solutions in our Cartersville Brewery of the Future environment. This is a very exciting and highly visible role that must work across multiple departments to satisfy customer needs.
Ownership of Cartersville Robotic solutions includes:
Predictive Maintenance (PdM) applications and other robotic applications that free up resources for more critical tasks
Lead implementation and Management of Change with new robotic solutions
Manage planning and scheduling of vendor onsite support
Support documenting new robotic requirements and standards
Monitor and advertise KPI metrics and successes
Organize, develop, and lead vendor training sessions
Coach brewery team to ensure success with robotics
Coordinate with maintenance team opportunities to reduce manual inspections
Identify additional future robotic opportunities
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar discipline
Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in engineering or manufacturing
Strong knowledge of processes & systems at A-B facilities
Must be an independent worker and capable of self-managing time and workload
Above average problem solving & multi-tasking abilities, leads by example, acts as an owner, results oriented & strong customer focus skills
Ability to extract, evaluate, and utilize data for process improvement from applicable systems
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Highly focused on results and providing a structured, systematic approach to delivering solutions
Production process management experience a plus
Experience with AGVs, AIVs, cobots and/or mobile robotic solutions is a plus
