Lockheed Martin QA Engineer in Camden, Arkansas
Description: Lockheed Martin is seeking to hire an Quality Engineering professional to support our Missiles and Fire Control campus in Camden, Arkansas. Our operations utilize state of the processes to produce and validate hardware for sophisticated missile systems and associated launch vehicles. This exciting role will offer the opportunity to work with multiple types of hardware utilized on many different programs that support our military personnel.
The Engineer will work on complex technical problems and provide solutions that are highly innovative and ingenious. The Engineer will act independently to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of quality inspections and supporting assembly processes. The Engineer will develop information which extends knowledge in the field; develops new concepts and will participate in teams assembled to accomplish long-range objectives.
The Engineer will have an opportunity to lead Quality Inspection and mentor less experienced engineers on our team. The engineer will collaborate with other disciplines to include manufacturing engineers, tool technicians, manufacturing support personnel and the customer on assembly and production operations.
The engineer will attend industry conferences and will keep up-to-date on related industry best practices.

Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent experience
Have advanced knowledge of AS9100D Quality systems and pertinent Quality practices.
Mechanical skills and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing understanding.
Ability to develop, apply, and analyze effectiveness of quality methods. Proactively review and develop documentation/drawing for compliance with requirements, use tools for documentation and corrective action of non-conformances.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Advanced interpersonal skills.
Applicants selected will be subject to government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
Green Belt Six Sigma Certification with knowledge of statistical process controls.
Root Cause Analysis and related Corrective Action training
Effective time management and good organizational skills.
Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering Degree
