Dell Account Executive - Bay Area Remote in California

Account Executive, Direct Sales

Location - Socal, CA; Remote

From developing brand new accounts to driving expansion across existing accounts, our Direct Sales team transforms opportunity into action every day. What you’ll achieve

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for building strong customer relationships in the field and ensuring an outstanding customer experience with existing and potential customers.

You will:

Develop an understanding of customers’ business and solution requirements

Gain share of spend across Dell Technologies portfolio of technology solutions: server, storage, networking, software, security and led services

Run territory and or accounts, including account planning, sales forecasting, engaging cross-functional resources and working with the virtual teams to ensure alignment across the organizations

Regularly engage with decision makers at client facilities in performing primary duties

Provide sales leadership and experience on large, sophisticated opportunities

Essential Requirements

Minimum 5 years’ experience selling enterprise storage, experience with file-based storage.

Active knowledge of the computer industry, especially file-base storage, networking, infrastructure and storage products.

Strong experience managing multi-tiered customer relationships. Demonstrated ability to penetrate and close new accounts and opportunities.

Strategic account planning experience; history of proactive creation and ongoing management of detailed account plans for a portfolio.

Demonstrated ability to work in a matrixed environment, fostering communication within specialized and core sales teams, while promoting independent activities and parallel efforts.

BA/BS in Business, Management, Computer Science, or Engineering fields.

Desirable Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA), preferred
