The Manager, Deposit Services is accountable for the leadership of Bridgewater Bank’s Deposit Services team. The role executes and enhances policies and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness in how we provide a high level of service to our customers.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Report to the Director, Operations.

  • You’ll lead the Deposits team to deliver high quality service and ensure adherence to service level expectations

  • You’ll help grow efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance and increase the organization’s operational capacity.

  • You will set out the priorities for the team and make recommendations to improve practices and processes.

  • You’ll develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols.

  • You’ll attract, retain, and enable the career development of top talent.

  • You’ll improve team performance, recognize and reward performance, coach employees, support development, and manage poor performance.

  • You’ll provide career development planning opportunities to enable growth and succession planning.

  • You’ll assist in moving strategic priorities from concept to implementation.

  • You’ll establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external business partners; continuing to build trust and respect.

  • You’ll work closely with internal audit, compliance, and regulatory risk to ensure deposit processes are compliant.

WHAT YOU’VE DONE

  • You have post-secondary education in business or commerce.

  • You have a minimum of 3-5 years of leadership experience in a financial institution.

  • You have a minimum 5 years deposit taking experience, institution experience is preferred.

  • You have a solid understanding of financial performance metrics.

  • You have a proven record of effectively maintaining a strict level of confidentiality, privacy and integrity surrounding all fraud and security related matters.

  • You’re proficient with various software applications including MS Office, Wealthview Banking, Filogex, etc.
